Chicken in Basil Cream Sauce

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast – Salt and pepper – ¼ cup flour – 2 tablespoons butter – 1 cup heavy cream – ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese – ¼ cup chopped fresh basil – 2 cloves garlic, minced

Step 1 

Season and Dredge Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat lightly in flour.

Cook Chicken: In a skillet, heat butter and sauté chicken until golden and cooked through.

Make Sauce: Remove chicken; add garlic to skillet and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in cream and bring to a simmer. –

Add Cheese and Basil: Stir in Parmesan and basil until melted and sauce thickens.

Return Chicken to Pan: Simmer chicken in sauce for 3–5 minutes to absorb flavor. –
