Chicken Parmesan Casserole Recipe  

Ingredients

Chicken breast, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, breadcrumbs, and pasta (like penne or rigatoni).

Preparation

Pre-cook the chicken by baking or boiling, then shred or chop it into bite-sized pieces.

Assembly

Layer cooked pasta, chicken, marinara sauce, and a mixture of mozzarella and parmesan in a casserole dish.

Topping

 Mix breadcrumbs with Italian seasoning and a little parmesan, then sprinkle on top of the casserole.

Baking

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the topping is golden.

Serving

Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, and serve hot, optionally with a side of garlic bread or a salad.

Variations

Add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition or use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free version.
