Chicken Parmesan Meatball Sliders

– 1 lb ground chicken – ½ cup breadcrumb – 1 egg – 2 cloves garlic, minced – ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese – 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning – Salt and pepper to taste – 1½ cups marinara sauce – 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese – 12 slider bun – Fresh basil (optional)

Step 1 

Preheat Oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make Meatballs: In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into 12 small meatballs.

Bake Meatballs: Place meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes or until fully cooked.

Step 4 

Heat Sauce: Warm marinara sauce in a skillet and add cooked meatballs to coat them in sauce.

Assemble Sliders: Place a meatball on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with a spoonful of sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Broil: Place sliders on a baking sheet and broil for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

1. Serve: Add the top bun, garnish with basil if desired, and serve hot as a delicious appetizer or meal.
