– 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 onion, chopped – 2 carrots, diced – 2 celery stalks, diced – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 6 cups chicken broth – 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken – 1 cup wild rice, cooked – 1 cup heavy cream – Salt and pepper to taste – 1 teaspoon thyme

Ingredients
Sauté Vegetables: In a large pot, heat olive oil and sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic.
Add Broth: Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Add Chicken and Rice: Stir in chicken and wild rice, reduce heat to a simmer.
Season: Add thyme, salt, and pepper.
Simmer: Cook for 20–25 minutes to blend flavors.
Add Cream: Stir in heavy cream and heat through (do not boil).
Serve: Ladle into bowls and serve with crusty bread.
