Hummingbird Bread Recipe  

Ingredients

Gather mashed ripe bananas, crushed pineapple (with juice), chopped pecans, eggs, sugar, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract.

Preheat and Prepare

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

Mix Wet Ingredients

 In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, pineapple, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well.

Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Blend and Fold

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Fold in chopped pecans.

Bake

Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 60–70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool and Serve

Let the bread cool before slicing. Optionally, top with cream cheese frosting.
