– Fresh eggs (as many as needed) – Water (enough to fill a medium pot) – 1 tbsp white vinegar (optional, helps with poaching)

Ingredients
Bring a medium pot of water to a gentle simmer; add a splash of vinegar.
Crack an egg into a small bowl.
Create a gentle whirlpool in the water with a spoon.
Gently slide the egg into the center of the whirlpool.
Cook for 3–4 minutes until the whites are set but yolk remains soft.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel.
Serve on toast or with your favorite breakfast dish.
