Buer Homes, Inc began building in Fort Collins in 1985. Its founder and president, Doug Buer, was born, raised and truly learned the lay of the land in Northern Colorado, where he has focused his efforts on building beautiful, high quality homes in some of the finest communities. Doug carefully selects locations, designs and the people with whom he works to create homes to last a lifetime…and beyond. The quality shows, regardless of size.

A true family business since Doug’s son came on board fourteen years ago, the phrase “hands on” has real meaning here…Doug personally manages all projects and does a lot of the work onsite himself. Meet Doug and see how Buer Homes is building tradition.

When Doug isn’t on a jobsite, you can find him working hard with the Northern Colorado Home Builder’s Association, where he advocates to help the homebuilding community, benefiting both builders and home buyers alike. He also sits as a member of the organization’s Executive Committee and on the state and national Boards of Directors.
